In 2013, Chen Zhi and a group of music enthusiasts founded Choyong with the vision of creating high-quality audio systems that deliver exceptional sound quality.
In 2014, with the advent of 4G communication technology, Choyong recognized the importance of integrating technological advancements into audio systems. Foreseeing that internet connectivity for music playback would shape the future of audio development, the company began investing in its laboratories. To date, Choyong has established an audio laboratory, a radio frequency lab, a component reliability lab, and a 5G communication chamber, with total investments exceeding $5 million.
Since 2014, Choyong has provided circuit, software, and audio design services to over 20 renowned global audio and headphone brands.
In 2021, Choyong launched its own brand. After achieving rapid success in China, the "Choyong" brand was registered globally in 2023. The company focuses on producing radios and speaker systems with advanced connectivity features, emphasizing rich audio resources, exquisite craftsmanship, and outstanding sound quality.
In 2024, the Choyong LC90 was globally released and quickly became a focal point for radio enthusiasts. Additionally, Choyong established a North American office to further expand its global presence.
